3)
The third request was  for a new vehicle suitable to cover all daily needs within 100 Kms. from home.
-
For this, the UOVO  reaches the speed  of 60/80 Kms, depending on the gear ratio, the propulsion chosen and the global weight.
4)
The forth wish has been for an interior space large enough to:  a) collect children from school  and taking them to sports  or else,  b) take the husband to the airport, sometimes with voluminous luggage,  c) contain a large shopping from the supermarket or elsewhere,  d) go skying with  2  people, 2 pairs of skys (max. lenght: 2 mts.),  e) golfing, fishing, etc.
-
The transportable weight is  250 Kgs.  i.e. :  2/3  persons plus luggage.
-
The back shelf the UOVO can contain  2  giant  Samsonite, plus other goods.  – The inside space allows to transport  small pieces of furniture, paintings,  golf clubs, skys,  etc.
5)
 The fifth demand was to be able to go through grass and meadows in good  company, to enjoy the nature’s gifts.
-
a film on a videocassette (9’ minutes), gives evidence of the UOVO possibilities on paths, woods, meadows, and even the crossing of a dry torrent;
-
this is made possible  by the  siamese wheels and by the use of different tyres apt to any road types;
-
the front wheels have width and diameter as large as the ones of the  B class vehicles. -This fact,  joint to the light weight of the UOVO,  anables to overcome stones,  little ditches and hollows, borders and other rough aspects of the roads, adding comfort to the ride;
-
in town  and in the country, with suitable weather conditions, it is possible to drive with the front part of the body-shell completely open, as on an  horse-landau.
6)
During the development of the Vehicle, it appeared evident the possibility of making the uovo suitable also to  handicapped people, giving them the possibility to enter  while sitting on their wheelchair and go where ever they wish, without any help.
-
As the front entrance of the Vehicle is 80 cms. large, nothing seemed to forbid the entrance of a wheel-chair (60 cms.), after having parked perpendicularly to a  pavement.   –The unique obstacle was the steering wheel.
-
Therefore, it has been conceived a special support of the steering wheel that  - once eleminated the traditional steering column – rises up on the left of the driver (for continental countries) and can be turned leftwards by  90° degrees, until the access for the wheelchair be totally free.  – Obviously, part of the UOVO’s seat will have to be previously removed, during the “ad personam” arrangement of the Vehicle. Once installed, the disable Man will put the steering wheel back to the driving position and go where he wishes.
-
There is room for a seat on the right of the wheelchair, for possible nurse.
The access to the UOVO’s floor level, can take place from a street pavement, or by means of a very simple electrical lifting platform.
